 ion Matters is the second annual symposium of the Horizon Europe-funded 
 Engage2innovate (E2i) project. This one-day event brings together securit
 y researchers\, practitioners\, policymakers and innovators from across Eu
 rope to explore a critical question:\n\n How can we achieve more impactfu
 l\, real-world outcomes from EU security research and innovation?\n\nHeld 
 in the heart of Brussels at the distinctive Le Bouche à Oreille\, the sy
 mposium offers a rare opportunity to explore how human-centred design meth
 ods\, tools and processes can transform the way we approach security R&amp
 \;I — strengthening innovation and supporting implementation on the grou
 nd.\n\nWe are proud to confirm our keynote speakers who will open and fram
 e the day’s discussions:\n\n 	Nicolas Bessot\, Head of Innovation and Se
 curity Research at the European Commission\n 	Nehro Azeri and Magnus Sj
 öberg\, Europol Innovation Lab.\n\nTogether\, they will share perspective
