DESCRIPTION:\n\nEuropol’s  European Cybercrime Centre - EC3 will host th
 e third Cybercrime Conference on 16 and 17 October 2024 \, focused on the 
 theme "Detect\, investigate\, and disrupt".\n\n\n\n\nDetection\, investiga
 tion and disruption\, the key pillars of the fight against cybercrime\, wi
 ll be discussed from various perspectives\, thanks to the diverse audience
  and speakers representing private sector\, academia\, international organ
 isations and law enforcement. The three pillars will be analysed in the li
 ght of important recent cybercrime operations\, future cybercrime challeng
 es\, and successful partnerships. The conference will place special emphas
 is on “disruption”\, focussing on access to data and the implications 
 of emerging technologies.\n\nAlongside the plenary sessions\, the programm
 e will also include a number of side events on specific questions of inter
 est such as the role of law enforcement in relation to e-governance\, inte
 rnational capacity building\, and cybercrime prevention. Various presentat
 ions on forensics-related topics will be offered. EC3’s private partners
