SUMMARY:Security Research Event (SRE)
DESCRIPTION:The Security Research Event (SRE) is the recurrent major EU e
 vent where policy makers\, security practitioners\, researchers\, industry
  and civil society come together to discuss the state of play of security 
 research in Europe. The SRE usually features a large exhibition area dedic
 ated to EU funded security-related projects.\n\nOrganised by the European 
 Commission\, the 2023 SRE brought together over 1000 participants. They d
 iscussed how global megatrends are shifting the ground for security in the
  EU\, as reflected in the event’s title: “Societal transformation\, d
 igitalisation and climate change – a new paradigm for Security Research?
 ”.\n\nThe next edition of the SRE is due to take place in 2025. More inf
 ormation will follow soon.
