SUMMARY:The Projects to Policy Seminar (PPS)
DESCRIPTION:Every year\, the European Research Executive Agency (REA) and t
 he Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs (DG HOME) organise t
 he Projects to Policy Seminar (PPS) to which all the coordinators of the n
 ewly launched civil security research projects are invited.\n\nThe in-pers
 on event is structured into breakout sessions\, preceded by a plenary with
  several presentations of general interest.\n\nParticipants meet in\n\n 	g
 roups that are split into the four thematic areas:\n\n\n 	Fighting Crime a
 nd Terrorism &amp\; Critical Infrastructure (FCT/INFRA)\n 	Strengthened Se
 curity Research and Innovation (SSRI)\n 	Disaster-Resilient Societies (DRS
 )\,\n 	Border Management (BM)\n\n\n 	groups that are split across thematic
  areas.\n\nThe aim is to raise awareness among the relevant policy Directo
 rates-General on the new projects that have been launched\, as well as to 
 provide guidance to these new projects regarding the policy-related output
 s the policy Directorates-General are interested in.\n\nPlease note that t
