Making Innovation Count is the third annual symposium of the Engage2Innovate (E2i) project. This one-day event will bring together security researchers, practitioners, policymakers and innovators from across Europe to address some of the most challenging and consequential questions facing European security R&I.
The event will look to address the key questions:
- Are we funding impactful security innovation — or just producing reports?
- What would make security innovation genuinely usable for real end-users in real operational contexts?
- How can insights from past R&I project investments better inform the security innovation agenda of tomorrow?
- What would it take to build a genuinely learning European Security R&I ecosystem? One that properly benefits from the knowledge good R&I generates — rather than simply shelving it?
Taking place in Brussels on the 23rd September 2026. Follow the link to the event webpage to find out more and register. https://engage2innovate.zohobackstage.eu/Symposium3
