The 17th edition of the EDEN Event on Data Protection and Cybersecurity in Law Enforcement will take place on 22–23 September 2026 and is organised within the framework of the Europol Data Protection Experts Network (EDEN). The annual conference brings together representatives from law enforcement agencies, data protection authorities, EU institutions, academia, civil society, and industry to discuss current developments and challenges related to data protection, cybersecurity, and fundamental rights in the law enforcement domain.
The event will feature discussions on topics including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Facial Recognition, cybersecurity, and human rights, while offering networking opportunities for security practitioners, policymakers, researchers, and Data Protection Officers across Europe.
