Policy recommendations workshop: The importance of evaluation for effective designing and evaluation of PVE / CVE / De-radicalisation initiatives
INDEED cordially invites all practitioners, policy makers, researchers and other stakeholders engaged in the field of P/CVE and De-radicalisation to the workshop focusing on policy recommendations regarding the importance of evidence-based design and evaluation for PVE/CVE/De-radicalisation initiatives.
The workshop, which marks a continuation of the three-year INDEED project initiated in 2021, aims to achieve the following objectives:
- Presenting outcomes and lessons learnt from the evidence-based evaluation planning process of selected initiatives within the INDEED project.
- Formulating policy recommendations for the planning, designing, implementation, and evaluation of future PVE/CVE/De-radicalisation initiatives.
- Promoting ongoing improvement in evaluation practices within the field of PVE/CVE/De-radicalisation and crime prevention.
- Facilitating the exchange of knowledge, experiences, challenges, and lessons learnt among stakeholders from diverse backgrounds involved in PVE/CVE/De-radicalisation efforts.
The policy recommendations generated during the workshop will be integrated into a report titled “Lessons Learnt and Policy Recommendations from the Evidence-Based Evaluation Planning Process”, which will be made publicly available.
