Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a key technology in security and defence applications. AI is used to obtain situational awareness and to extract the relevant information from a large collection of data. The need for AI is increasing, as the amount of sensor data increases while there are fewer analysts and camera operators available. This conference will focus on technology development in artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques for automatic and machine assisted image and video analysis for defence and security applications.
