ENACT Engages with the Spanish Security Community of Users (CoU Spain)

ENACT partners from Vicomtech and Spanish Ministry of Interior had the opportunity to present the project to the Spanish Security Community of Users (CoU Spain). This engagement highlighted ENACT as a key resource for understanding FCT dynamics and supporting applicants in delivering high-quality research. This one-day event, held on the 18th February in Madrid, is an annual event organized to foster interaction between the national industrial network, research centres, academia, and security end users.

As part of the event, the team moderated a dedicated session on FCT R&I, where insights from ENACT’s Advanced Report #1 were shared. These statistics will play a crucial role in enhancing the understanding of key areas of interest and their involvement in upcoming calls.

Additionally, ESMIR and VICOM presented ENACT as a fundamental tool for comprehending FCT trends and assisting both applicants and project beneficiaries in achieving excellence in research. They also encouraged attendees to actively participate in the project in various roles, such as, expert validators, report applicants, or as part of the expert database.

Approximately 120 people attended the event, which was divided during the second part of the agenda, into four separate sessions, each dedicated to one of the Cluster 3 destinations. The attendees’ profiles covered the entire national security ecosystem, including industry representatives, small and large companies, research centres, universities, and, of course, representatives of Spain’s end users in security.
