ENACT presentation at Home Office Security and Policing Event

ENACT was again featured at this year’s Home Office Security & Policing event, following a successful presentation in 2025. The event, hosted by the Joint Security & Resilience Centre (JSaRC) with support from ADS from 10–12 March, brought together senior decision-makers from government, law enforcement, industry and research from the UK and beyond to discuss the latest advances in national security and resilience.

On 11 March, ENACT was presented on the Spotlight Stage through a session titled “Leveraging ENACT outcomes for stronger UK engagement in Europe.” The presentation provided an overview of ENACT’s 2025 report on how participants at Security and Policing align with the EU Civil Security Taxonomy to better understand how UK companies can effectively engage in Horizon Europe and other EU civil security programmes.

This was complemented by the launch of the latest ENACT country profile analysing the UK’s recent involvement in the fight against Crime and Terrorism (FCT) Research and Innovation ecosystem. The report highlights the strong engagement of UK organisations in the Horizon Europe programme and demonstrates the wide range of expertise present across the four key FCT policy areas, with a particularly strong profile in cybercrime.

Participation in Security & Policing 2026 provided an opportunity to present ENACT’s work to policymakers, law enforcement stakeholders and industry representatives, reinforcing the importance of collaboration across the European security research community.
