At the start of October, ENACT was delighted to have the opportunity to present the project to the European Cybercrime Centres (EC3) and its Advisory Groups on Research and Development, Internet Security, Financial Services, and Service Providers. These Advisory Groups were established to to foster closer cooperation between EC3 leading non-law enforcement partners. They help to strengthen practical cooperation between law enforcement and key domains, such as internet security, telecommunications and financial services, as well as research.
The presentation highlighted opportunities to participate in the ENACT validation facility, register as an expert, or request a report, as well as demonstrating the results and reports produced so far.
ENACT focuses on all areas of the fight against crime and terrorism (FCT), with cybercrime being a key pillar. The presentation enabled ENACT to establish several key connections with various members of the Advisory Groups, and we aim to continue supporting the AGs and EC3 in their efforts to combat cybercrime.
