New analytical report on EU Internal Security Fund priorities

We have published our third analytical report, Internal Security Fund: Analysis of EU Member State Priorities. The report examines the initial 2021–2027 Internal Security Fund National Programmes across EU Member States and explores how national priorities align with the EU Civil Security Taxonomy across policy, operational functions and technology.

The analysis points to a clear shift towards intelligence-led policing, with strong emphasis on data and intelligence management, secure information exchange, digital infrastructure and capability-building. It also highlights key priorities across Organised Crime, Cybercrime, Terrorism and Radicalisation, and Horizontal and Societal Issues, providing an evidence base to support future EU security research, innovation and funding decisions.
