ENACT has published Pathways to Market Report 03, a public report developed to support FCT Research and Innovation (R&I) projects in their journey from validation to market implementation. The report presents the results of ENACT’s validation facility services for three FCT R&I projects, CLARUS, MARIT-D and VANGUARD, validated during the final ENACT Annual Event in Brussels on 23 July 2026.
The report outlines ENACT’s Pathways to Market methodology, combining expert validation, project self-assessment and mapping against the EU Civil Security (EUCS) taxonomy to identify barriers, accelerators and practical routes towards market uptake. It also explores the innovation “valley of death”, where promising civil security technologies can struggle to move from validated prototypes to operational deployment and wider adoption.
